<p>Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. <p>We are currently looking to hire a talented and experienced Senior Support Engineer to join their End User Services team in New York. The individual should have the ability to work in a team environment consisting of remote locations, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, strong adherence to established workflows or be able to identify improvements. Preferably from a financial background but more importantly a team player with a collaborative spirit. This role will primarily serve to end the working day.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide desktop and mobile device support firm wide.</li>
<li>Participate in scheduled on-call rotations, including nights and weekends.</li>
<li>Install and configure computer systems and applications within the firm.</li>
<li>Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.</li>
<li>Own requests through to resolution, ensuring the requester is kept informed of the progress throughout.</li>
<li>VIP support for Investment professionals.</li>
<li>Create technical documentation.</li>
<li>Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with employees and vendors.</li>
<li>Support the asset management of hardware and software.</li>
<li>Support office moves, events, as and when required.</li>
<li>Promote and train staff members to use of appropriate techniques, methodologies and tools to ensure they are familiar with applications, systems and equipment.</li>
<li>Comply and contribute to company standards, processes, and procedures.</li>
<li>Support and maintain the automation of the starters and leavers process.</li>
<li>Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team and business processes.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>7-15 years of experience in a similar role </li>
<li>Windows Server support and administration</li>
<li>Azure Active Directory support and administration</li>
<li>Exchange Online support and administration</li>
<li>VMware or comparable experience</li>
<li>Mobile device platforms expertise (iOS, Android)</li>
<li>SCCM Imaging experience </li>
<li>Experience in first line networking.</li>
<li>Experience with Market Data applications</li>
<li>Service Now & Confluence experience</li>
<li>Microsoft Office 365 suite</li>
<li>Hardware knowledge (Lenovo, HP and Dell</li>
