Company Overview: Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income & Macro, Convertible & Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies. Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Handle day-to-day HR inquires and support employees at all levels.</li> <li>Coordinate and facilitate the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including background checks, employment authorization verification, and Day 1 orientation logistics.</li> <li>Handle full cycle immigration process including visa renewals, applications, renewal tracking and extensions.</li> <li>Work with the global HR Business Partners HRBPs and legal teams on global relocations, transfers, and short-term assignments.</li> <li>Manage the offboarding workflow for voluntary and involuntary separations, including coordination with managers, HRBPS, and Payroll.</li> <li>Handling HR audits, EEO reporting, administer required trainings, make legal postings, annual refresher background checks and manage additional HR compliance related activities.</li> <li>Complete employment verifications, process worker’s compensation claims and complete FMLA and STD paperwork.</li> <li>Manage Work Day processes, ensuring data accuracy and maintain accurate employee records.</li> <li>Create and maintain recurring reports and respond to data requests from various departments.</li> </ul> Requirements:  <ul> <li>1-2 years of HR related experience including internships.</li> </ul>
