<p><strong>ROLE OVERVIEW</strong></p>
<p>Verition is seeking a motivated Operations Associate to join its Cash & Position Reconciliation team. The Associate will be responsible for daily cash and position reconciliation across a high volume of transactions, multiple accounts, counterparties, and asset classes, leveraging a suite of internal and third-party systems. You will work closely with Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of breaks.</p>
<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform daily cash and position reconciliations across internal systems, external platforms, and Prime Brokers.</li>
<li>Investigate, analyze, and resolve high-volume reconciliation breaks across multiple platforms and systems.</li>
<li>Escalate and drive timely resolution of outstanding breaks.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate transaction records across internal and third-party systems.</li>
<li>Identify process gaps and partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.</li>
<li>Respond to queries and ad hoc requests from Trading, Technology, and other Operations teams in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree required.</li>
<li>3+ years of operations or financial services experience; exposure to Equities, Credit, Derivatives, and/or Rates a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with DUCO or similar reconciliation tools preferred.</li>
<li>Self-starter with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a high-volume environment.</li>
<li>Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li>
<li>Collaborative team player comfortable working across Trading, Technology, and Operations functions.</li>
