ROLE OVERVIEW
Balyasny Asset Management is looking for an exceptional Equity analyst to work on a portfolio team in Switzerland. The role will focus on identifying structural themes, relative-value opportunities, and macro-driven dislocations.
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Investing and trading in publicly listed equities and relevant derivatives within cyclical markets
- Generating ideas by conducting top-down and bottoms-up fundamental work
- Supporting in financial statement analysis, cash flows, balance sheets, and maintaining consensus models
- Communicating with industry and sell-side contacts
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an equity research role covering publicly listed companies
- Passion for public markets investing across cyclical sectors with ability to combine fundamental analysis with macro/thematic views
- Advanced understanding of accounting / financial statements
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Preference for Zug location
