The D. E. Shaw group seeks a senior systems engineer with extensive Linux experience to join its Platform Engineering team. This is a hands-on, technical role within a global cross-platform engineering team responsible for the firm’s core technology infrastructure. Be part of a team that designs and maintains the firm’s global network, operating systems, security policy and infrastructure, and core network services across our datacenters, cloud services, and global offices.
Work to continuously improve the security framework of a fast-paced, large-scale infrastructure environment that supports investment activity and technology development across the firm.
Contribute to the design, implementation, and integration of infrastructure systems, particularly—but not exclusively—on Linux-based systems
