The Global Treasury Team is looking to expand the Portfolio Finance function. In this role, you will play a leading part in managing the daily financing of the firm and help drive the next iteration of Treasury within Jump, owning the optimization of the firm’s financing across a multi-asset book and relationships with key counterparties. You will also coordinate with APAC and EMEA teams, and work with all levels and departments globally.
What You'll Do:
- Orchestrate firm’s US financing portfolios, borrowing rates, and lenders across equities and credit.
- Improve efficiency of financing of the firm across asset classes.
- Negotiate and own general financing and margin terms with key counterparties.
- Build tools to enhance financing decisions and systems.
- Support regional treasury teams across APAC, Europe, and through Group Treasurers in all aspects of cash and collateral management.
- Provide foreign exchange and money market instrument insights.
- Provide regional trade team analysis regarding PnL and cost allocations.
- Work closely with Risk and other Back Office functions in supporting daily trading activities.
- Drive and implement new procedures, funding structures, and automation.
- Provide leadership in product initiatives.
Skills You’ll Need:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in STEM, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related area.
- At least 2 years of experience in buy/sell side, Portfolio Finance, Capital Markets, Time, or Experience relevant background.
- Strong technical skills in Python or other programming languages.
- Demonstrated currency and robust treasury management understanding.
- Solid understanding of capital markets. Understanding of financial price volatility, liquidity, and hedging.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and prioritize commitments.
- Self-motivated, team-player with interpersonal capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; presentation and agile interaction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
