Position Description

PIMCO is seeking a strategic, innovative and commercially minded leader for the role of Senior Vice President, Global Creative Solutions Manager. This newly created role builds on PIMCO’s strong brand and creative foundation and is designed to transform PIMCO’s creative capability into an AI-powered model - one that unlocks breakthrough creativity, increases productivity to meet business demand, and scales high-impact creative solutions.

This role involves partnering with many stakeholders, including global Marketing leadership, senior business stakeholders across the firm and external agencies. The Creative Solutions Manager will manage a multidisciplinary team spanning creative design, UX product design, multimedia, and production – while reimagining how creative work is conceived, produced, and scaled through AI, automation, and advanced technologies.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Define and lead a global creative vision and strategy for the firm, helping to evolve/expand the firm’s ecosystem of creative resources, tools, and metrics.
  • Build and rapidly execute an AI‑enabled creative model that drives long‑term transformation while delivering near‑term step‑change improvements in productivity, speed, and impact.
  • Balance AI‑powered transformation with the day‑to‑day delivery of high‑quality creative solutions to meet fast‑moving business needs.
  • Act as a thought leader and change agent, helping senior stakeholders and the broader Marketing team understand and embrace how AI is evolving modern marketing and brand-building.
  • Establish clear success metrics that quantify productivity gains, creative quality uplift, speed-to-market, and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead, inspire, and evolve a high-performing, multidisciplinary global creative team, fostering a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and innovation - strengthening clarity, accountability, and execution across a global model.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external agencies to develop client-centric concepts, ensuring seamless integration across all touchpoints and maintaining strong partnerships.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in art, communications, marketing, or another related field
  • Proven experience managing a holistic creative solutions model (10-15+ years) within an agency or marketing department
  • Strong leader who has demonstrated experience setting strategic direction, managing large (internal/external) teams and inspiring creative/design excellence
  • Passion and demeanor to affect change and inspire early engagement and deep partnerships
  • Excellent track record for developing and applying new ideas, approaches and methods with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven ability to pitch/sell highly conceptual ideas
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Figma plus Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and XD
  • Experience working across, or having other exposure to, a number of geographic markets globally
  • Knowledge of/experience in Financial Services is preferred but not required
