Your future role within QRT:
The Production Trading Operations role focuses on managing the order flow and ensuring smooth operations within the trading environment. You will collaborate closely with trading desks, compliance, and IT to pre-empt potential issues and maintain market-making programs.
- Provide high-quality, reactive production trading services.
- Build relationships and coordinate activities between various stakeholders.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams to address and resolve trading-related issues.
- Proactively monitor trade flows and trading limit utilization.
- Manage trading session access and ensure limit compliance.
- Deepen understanding of the trading platform.
- Identify and drive improvements in trading processes, particularly in equities and futures.
- Contribute to operational resilience and scalability initiatives.
Your present skillset:
- about 5 years in a live trading environment.
- Strong problem solving and confident communication.
- Degree in quantitative or technical (e.g., mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science).
- Exposure to electronic trading protocols (e.g., FIX) and low-latency environments.
- Scripting and automation skills preferred.
- Exposure to equities and futures ideal; multi-asset experience a plus.
- Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Coding skills desirable (e.g., Python).
- Experience in exploring large datasets across time horizons a plus.
