This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong student who enjoys solving real problems and wants hands-on exposure to systems that directly support portfolio management operations.You will work alongside expert developers and portfolio managers, contributing to systems, interfaces, and tools used in day-to-day portfolio management workflows. We value clear thinking, strong fundamentals, and a proactive attitude — we don't expect prior industry experience, but we do expect you to think rigorously and pick things up fast.Strong performers will be considered for a full-time Quant Developer role upon graduation.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of systems, interfaces, and tools that support portfolio management workflows, under the guidance of senior developersWork with developers and portfolio managers to understand requirements for well-scoped tasks and featuresHelp identify, investigate, and resolve issues in existing tools and infrastructureAssist with monitoring production systems and support incident response as part of a teamParticipate in code reviews, write tests, and contribute to technical documentationLearn and apply modern development tools and practices, including how the team uses LLM-assisted workflowsWhat You’ll Bring:TechnicalCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldSolid coursework or project experience in Python and/or C++Basic familiarity with Bash scripting and Linux environmentsFamiliarity with version control systems such as GitApproach & Working StyleStrong analytical and logical thinking — you approach problems methodically and don't give up easilyMeticulous, with genuine care about the quality of your own workProactive and curious — willing to dig into a problem before asking for help, but not afraid to ask good questionsAble to manage a well-defined task with reasonable independence, with support and guidance readily availableAbility to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, codebases, and systemsEffective and concise communicator in English, both written and verbalWays of WorkingComfortable using Claude or other LLM tools as part of your development workflow — for debugging, learning unfamiliar code, and drafting documentationUses LLM tools with judgment — treats them as an aid to thinking, not a substitute for itWilling to learn how the team applies LLM-assisted workflows and bring that mindset to your own workInternship detailsInternship availability - at least 4 months, starting January 2026.
