About This Data
The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act requires employers to file advance notice of mass layoffs and plant closures. There is no national feed — each state publishes its own notices, which this open dataset collects and normalizes from state labor departments, with coverage back to 1987.
