The AWS Cloud Engineering Team provides a scalable, performant and best practice platform for QRT’s application and core teams to utilize in deploying cloud native services. This team is critical in ensuring that applications are built on a strong AWS foundation from the perspective of governance, security and connectivity. Your future role within QRT We are seeking a Network Operations Engineer to support the ongoing operation, scalability and continuous improvement of our global AWS network. This role focuses on implementing change safely and consistently at scale, improving automation, and providing operational support to internal stakeholders. You will work closely with senior engineers, application teams, security and IT to deliver a reliable, well-governed and observable network services in a production-sensitive environment. The role is expected to include: • Implement changes across our global AWS network using Infrastructure-as-Code • Maintain and improve Terraform modules to ensure scalable, repeatable and consistent network deployments • Develop and maintain automation tooling using Python and Bash • Execute controlled changes via CI/CD pipeline and automate the test process • Assess risk for change management and ensure correct processes are followed • Provide high-quality reviews and constructive feedback to peers • Support no-blame blameless post-mortems for incidents This role offers strong growth opportunities into deeper cloud networking, platform engineering and automation. Your present skillset: • 2-4 years of experience in a cloud infrastructure implementation • Experience with AWS networking services such as VPC, Transit Gateway, Route53, and load balancers • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred) • Solid understanding of networking: TCP/IP, routing, and network security • Experience with Python or Bash • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Desirable experience: • Experience with cloud monitoring and operation • Experience with Terraform Cloud and CI/CD • AWS certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps) QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
