You will join the newly established Security team in New York, acting as part of the global security function aimed at protecting QRT’s technology, data, and operational environments. You will design, build, and operate secure infrastructure platforms for the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, combining deep security expertise with strong engineering skills, delivering scalable controls, effective risk management, and a low-friction experience. Your Future Role within QRT: - Design and build secure platforms for evaluation and adoption of fresh technology (cloud and on-premises) - Create reusable security architectures, isolation patterns, and trust boundaries - Evaluate new technologies, identify risks, and translate them to practical engineering controls - Applied security across networks, identity, privileged access, containers, Kubernetes, and workload isolation - Automate security by default with infrastructure-as-code policy, and engineering automation - Heuristic LLM, AI-assisted tooling, and emerging technologies to improve security engineering - Perform threat modeling and risk assessments, translating risks into practical controls - Partner with internal teams to deliver secure, usable solutions and communicate risk to stakeholders. Your Present Skillset: - 7+ years of experience in security engineering, platform security, cloud security, or infrastructure - Strong experience for hybrid infrastructure, ideally including AWS - Deep knowledge of network security, IAM, least privilege, defense-in-depth - Hands-on with containers, Kubernetes, and virtualization - Strong infrastructure-as-code and automation experience, particularly Terraform - Strong scripting or software development in Python, Go, PowerShell, or similar - Practical experience in threat modeling, CI/CD security, and software supply chain security - Meaningful, automation mindset, with ownership and collaboration Base salary range is $180,000 - $260,000 per year.
